Safeguarding

Working with young people is key for the expansion of table tennis and we try to give the
opportunities for young people to participate and help them on their way to achieving their
sporting and social ambitions. Additionally Bishopstone Table Tennis Club is very proud of
its ethos of inclusivity throughout our sport and recognises the key part that adults at risk
have to play. It is very important that support is given to the volunteers, staff, players and
parents through all of our policies, guidance and procedures to make table tennis a safer
sport.

The safeguarding of young and vulnerable people is of paramount importance. Bishopstone
Table Tennis Club has a safety policy in place and is adopting the policies in place by Table
Tennis England as per their website.
